We just finished 2 shorts sponsored by Coke for their student filmmaker competition. Both of them were a lot of fun, especially because we got to shoot in movie theaters and eat popcorn! Anyway, here are some pictures from the shoot.
Joe standing in for the camera while setting a point for me to put my light on.
The Vista Theater where we shot the first short.
Tie day on the first shoot.
Andrew Russo's girlfriend, Amber, and us taking a myspace photo.
Nick Kane, best boy electric, working the shutters on the 10K.
The set from the second Coke shoot.
Posing with the talent... er, cardboard cut-out.

PhillM tip-of-the-day:
Lasers are hard to light. Use smoke or haze near the lasers to get them to appear but avoid filling the room of the foreground too much, otherwise it will lower the contrast and make the lasers harder to see.

PhillM tip-of-the-day:
Small Par 20 par cans are great little lights to use as small architectural lighting because they draw low power, put out a good amount of light and they look like practical lights if they are scene by the camera.
