Funny Story About Sissy Spacek

Ok, so Joe and I go out last night to a spur-of-the-moment wrap party with the crew of the short film, The Company Man, we just shot with Rob Hauer over the weekend. Rob has been dating this girl named Schuyler(pronounced Skyler) Fisk who plays guitar and sings and she has been playing shows ever Monday at a little venue not too far from our house called Hotel Cafe. So we wrapped on Sunday and figured it would be fun to meet up with the crew there and go see her play to support Rob and everything.


So a few people come over to our place early and we make dinner and then head out. It's only about a 10 minute walk so we all get there around 9:00 or so and we are waiting for the rest of our friends to show up when Schuyler's mom comes out and talks to the door man. She sees Rob and they talk for a little bit, it was funny because she reminded me of Sissy Spacek. Anyway, Rob comes back after Schuyler's mom goes back inside and I ask if that was her mom and he says, "Yes." I make a joke; something like, "Oh, you mean Sissy Spacek over there? Hahaha, her name doesn't happen to be Carrie does it? Hahaha" Rob laughs a little.

So the rest of our group shows up and we get in and Schuyler's mom comes back out as we are getting tickets and she says, "Rob, you're on the list." and so Rob shows us in... but he introduces me and Joe to Schuyler's mom while everyone else gets their tickets.

He turns to her and says, "This is my gaffer, Phill. Phill, this is Sissy." And I thought, haha- how funny because she looks like Sissy Spacek and I made that joke earlier and her name happens to be Sissy and... ooooh.

It was Sissy Spacek.

Turns out that Schuyler also stared in that movie called Orange County with Tom Hank's son...yeah, she was the girlfriend.

I find that a good, simple eye light ir a 650w Tweenie with all the wire(scrims) in it bounced into a 4x4 or 2x2 piece of beadboard. Try it.
